MR. HARALD EIKELAND

Current Position:  Operations Manager & Master Mariner

Mr. Eikeland has been with Atlas almost from the startup, and is a very important factor in the continuous growth of our good Company. As Head of Operations, Eikeland is responsible for the daily and overall performance and operational handling of our fleet. Mr. Eikeland brings a detailed and keen eye to the table, and overlooks that everything in Atlas is done according to governing rules and regulations within our field of business. As a former Master Mariner, Mr. Eikeland is hands on in all major issues that occurs, and ensures that we are the ones that solve the situation.

Mr. Eikeland is educated from Bergen Maritime School, and has spent most of his career within the field of shipping and chemical tankering. As Master Mariner he naturally holds a vast ammount of courses and acrediations from various institutions within the Norwegian Maritime sector.

Prior joining Atlas Mr. Eikeland served as Officer and Master onboard various Chemical Tankers, whereas he thereafter steped onshore to work as a dedicated Operator for Utkilen Shipping. Before eventually coming to Atlas, he worked as Ship Operator with Norwegian Owner Odfjell.
