MR. ROBERT SAEVAREID

Current Position:  Senior Ship Operator

Mr. Saevareid joined Atlas in 2010 and is an important part of the team that efficient and promptly deliveres first class service to all our Customers using our good vessels. As Senior Ship Operator with Atlas, Mr. Saevareid directly handles and overlooks several of the Companys Chemical Tankers to a high level of safety and ethical standards. As a former Officer on various Chemical Tankers, he participates in ensuring that Atlas always knows what we are doing. Onshore as well as offshore.

Mr. Saevareid is educated from Bergen Maritime School, and has spent all of his career within the field of shipping and chemical tankers. Following this he holds a vast ammount of courses and acrediations from various institutions within the Norwegian Maritime sector.

Prior joining Atlas Mr. Saevareid served onboard various Chemical Tankers for Anders Utkilens Rederi AS, whereas he thereafter joined SGS as a Cargo-Inspector. Before eventually coming to Atlas, he worked as Ship Operator with Norwegian Owner JO Tankers AS.
